Raiman al-Hamdani

Associate Fellow

Raiman Al-Hamdani is an Associate Fellow, having joined the Yemen Policy Center as a Research Fellow in 2019. His research and work are orientated around issues of fragility and conflict, security, stabilization, and development in the MENA region in general and Yemen in particular.

Previously, he was a Visiting Fellow at the European Council for Foreign Relations and a consultant for the World Bank. He has been active in the development field, volunteering at schools for disabled children, working in internally displaced camps, and representing Yemen at the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations.

He holds an MA in International Security from the American University in Cairo and an MSc in Development from SOAS, University of London.
