Kate Nevens

Kate Nevens is a freelance project consultant and workshop facilitator with more than 10 years of experience in the field of qualitative research, policy analysis, capacity building and program design. Kate focuses on the advancement of women and youth, as well as on social activism at the local level. As a freelance consultant, she has in recent years worked with the Yemen Polling Center, CARPO, Saferworld, the Overseas Development Institute, Oxfam, Amnesty, the Public International Law and Policy Group, and Beyond Borders. She was head of the Middle East and North Africa program at Saferworld, and manager of the Middle East and North Africa program at Chatham House. She holds a Masters in International Politics from SOAS at the University of London.
