YPC Germany e.V. is a young organization, largely made up of a young and ambitious team of Yemeni and German researchers committed to supporting Yemeni talent. Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fundraising Support Intern to assist with our Yemen-based project activities. In this role, you will provide essential support to ensure smooth communication and coordination across various project elements. You will work closely with our team to help maintain strong relationships with civil society participants and other key stakeholders in Yemen. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fundraising, project support and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in developing and updating a strategic plan to guide fundraising activities and revenue generation.
- Work alongside the project’s leads to help track and understand various revenue streams.
- Help promote the organisation’s mission and work through communication and outreach activities.
- Assist in building and maintaining a network of dedicated donors and volunteers.
- Support the identification of new fundraising opportunities for the organisation.
- Aid in establishing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Assist in proposal writing and donor outreach, helping to develop compelling proposals and engage potential supporters.
- Offer logistical support for staff involved in special events and fundraising activities, ensuring all preparations run smoothly.
- Perform any additional support tasks as needed to ensure the successful execution of fundraising and project activities.
Education and Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and able to learn new programs quickly
- Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Conditions
You will work remotely. The start date is as soon as possible. This is a two month contract, ending on 31 December 2024.
