Media in Peacebuilding: YPC Participates in CARPO-Meeting
in Addis Abab

July 10, 2019

The Yemen Polling Center is thrilled to announce its participation in the GIZ-funded and CARPO-implemented project on peacebuilding and requirements for peace in Yemen. In the framework of this project, YPC Associated Fellow Fatima Saleh, together with the international consultant Scott Preston, will be writing a research paper on the potentials of media to contribute to peacebuilding in Yemen. The paper builds on a decade of in-depth media research conducted by the Yemen Polling Center, mostly focused on media consumption.
As preparation for the research, CARPO organized a worksshop in Addis Ababa, where all teams met and discussed essential terms they would be working with. Scott Preston participaed in the meeting and presented the YPC’s team initial outline and research plan. We are looking foward to this collaborative project and are excited to further grow with the assistance of cooperating partners.
