Chief Communications Editor

Jatinder Padda joined the Yemen Policy Center as Chief Communications Editor in 2021. In 2016 she set up an editorial consultancy specialising in non-governmental organisations and academic work, particularly on human rights and gender equity. Previously she worked at the conflict prevention and peacebuilding organization Saferworld. As a writer and editor, she has extensive experience working with authors and researchers who do not have English as their primary language, collaborating with them to write reports or amend their texts in English. For several years she was the English Language Editor of the online Yemeni arts and culture magazine Al Madaniya.
